We are a community of love, respect and support, which welcome all people.
Lutherans
Lutherans are the fourth largest Protestant denomination in North America. Throughout USA, it has around 11,000 congregations. The name Lutheran refers to Martin Luther, a German Catholic Monk and an Old Testament Professor, who came to renewed understanding of the good news of Jesus almost 500 years ago. Luther’s writings called for church reform in the church. Lutherans do not worship Martin Luther, but only God the creator, through Jesus Christ and with the Holy Spirit.
Lutherans are evangelicals, as forgiven people of God reach out to share good news of God’s grace. We believe in two Sacraments: Baptism and Holy Communion. our worship service comes from a very ancient practice. Recently, we started, contemporary services with gospel music and choir.
All the congregations are connected by synods to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), which has over five million members. The Lutheran Church is a global church and member of Lutheran World Federation. It has missionaries serving in many countries around the world. ELCA relates to 28 colleges, 8 seminaries and 275 social service agencies and institutions across the United States. The Lutheran Church is active in around 100 countries around the World.
